"Our model of legal support makes us stand out from the rest - we care about our clients’ situations and will help them as much as we can, through our free or affordable services."
Our Services
"One of the greatest challenges to accessing specialist legal advice is that people don’t always recognise that their problem has a legal resolution. Providing people with specialist legal advice quickly so that we can support them to resolve their problem remains a priority for us."

Justice Together North East Partnership

The Justice Together North East Partnership hopes to make long-term positive change in the North East!

Justice Together North East Partnership Project

From October 1st 2021, North East Law Centre will be working with partners across the North East to widen access to free Immigration Advice in the region - thanks to funding from Justice Together.

The Justice Together North East Partnership will be able to provide specialist immigration advice in areas such as: Family Reunion, No Recourse to Public Funds Cases and cases outside the scope of Legal Aid – including fresh asylum claims. The project will not only widen access to justice for our migrant communities, but will also aim to increase capacity in community organisations over the duration of the project. As such, the project will have a long-term positive impact on the accessibility of immigration advice in the North East.

The Justice Together North East partners include:

Advice Partners: North East Law Centre, North of England Refugee Service and Justice First

Support Partners: Friends of the Drop-In, Open Door (North East), Rainbow Home, Action Foundation, West End Refugee Service, International Community Organisation of Sunderland and The Angelou Centre

The project is facilitated through a virtual hub of specialist advisers with suitable referrals being made through our support and advice partners.
