North East Law Centre is the lead partner on the Families Through Crisis project, delivering Welfare Benefits advice for this Lottery Funded Project.
What is the Families Through Crisis Project?
The project is delivered by our Welfare Benefits caseworker Raissa, and aims to help resolve their underlying issues with additional elements of support delivered by Changing Lives and Connected Voice. We are now delivering Welfare Benefits Advice as the project lead for the Big Lottery funded Families Through Crisis project. With three key partners, the project works with families in Newcastle who would not ordinarily engage with support services, and are experiencing crisis and hardship.
The five-year project is delivered by outreach in partnership with West End Women and Girls Centre in Elswick, Riverside Community Health Project in Benwell.
