Funded by British Red Cross, the project seeks to support refugee and migrant Family Reunion and Integration.
What is the Families Together Project?
North East Law Centre is a delivery partner of the Families Together Programme a new, multi-donor funded grants programme that seeks to address significant institutional, regulatory and political challenges that hinder successful refugee and migrant Family Reunion (Refugee Family Reunion and Family Migration) and Integration in the UK.
What support can the project offer?
The project is led by June, our Immigration Solicitor and supports clients across Tyne & Wear and Northumberland who have been granted leave to remain with:
Initial advice to refugees looking to apply for family reunion on the merits of their application and the Home Office requirements
Full casework and representation for Refugee Family Reunion applications
In addition, we also provide second-tier advice to other workers in the refugee sector to assist them in supporting clients and increase their knowledge.
