You might have heard in the news that the MEA Trust, our landlord has sold the premises to Northumbria University, and we were informed of the impending termination of our lease on Monday (June 19).

The news was unexpected, but we want to assure our clients and stakeholders that North East Law Centre is not closing, and we do not have to vacate the premises until early next year. We are now working with our staff, Board of trustees and others to explore our options for alternative premises in the centre of Newcastle.
